For the LOVE of Fiber, held Saturday, Feb 16th, 2013 at the Boalsburg Fire Hall, was awesome.
There were lots of terrific raffle baskets donated by very generous yarn merchants in the region. There were hot soups and incredible cookies in constant supply by Cafe Karla's. There were demos, examples, things to buy, people to chat
with, and all sorts of fiber projects in process. Unfortunately, due to a communication mix-up among the organizers, the contact info for the merchants was omitted from the event brochure. Their emails and shop names are listed below. Google the shop name for more info. And if your adventures take you near their shops, please stop in and say Hi and Thanks!

had started.

I HEART Knitting 2012!
A gathering of all fiber enthusiasts was
held Saturday, February 4th, 2012. 10am until 5pm at Boalsburg Fire Hall,
113 E. Pine St. Boalsburg, PA. Admission was free and open to everyone
interested in all aspects of fiber. Food bank donations were welcomed at
the door. This was a wonderful event designed to promote an exchange of ideas,
creative vision, and enthusiasm of all fiber-related interests. Several area
fiber groups showcased their work. Merchants and others generously donated huge
baskets filled with fiber fun and unique door prizes.

Knitters, crocheters, spinners, and weavers throughout Central Pennsylvania gathered for a night of fiber fun!
6-9pm, February 3rd, 2011, Boalsburg Fire Hall. Raffle prizes included tickets to the Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet Festival! It was declared an all-around free, fabulous, fiber-filled evening out!
