Meetings
The guild meets on the first Thursday of the month September through June from 7pm until 9pm at Cafe Karla, 301 Science Park Rd, State College, PA. We do not normally meet in July and August. For details on each month's program, please see the full schedule below.

February's meeting will be dedicated to putting the final touches on the I Heart Knitting event. Program: Entrelac.
We will revisit the world of Entrelac, or basketweave, knitting during April's meeting. Entrelac is French for interlace or intertwine.
The class will be divided into two sections:
1. Beginner Entrelac - for those who've never tried it or would like to understand better how to do the technique.
2. Intermediate Entrelac - for those in the group who understand the technique and would like to expand their horizons.

Program: Intarsia.
This month Cynthia, co-owner of Stitch Your Art Out, will be teaching us Intarsia knitting. Please bring two colors of worsted weight yarn and size 7 or 8 needles. Please note that this month's meeting will be held at Stitch Your Art Out in Pine Grove Mills.

Following our cowl knitting for the women in Japan we'll be working on knitting items for the Park Forest Day Nursery. November's meeting will be dedicated to working on items for the Day Nursery. Remember that we need items for children ages 3 - 6 years of age. Items needed are hats, mittens/gloves, scarves or neck warmers, ear warmers.
